I'm so ill-equipped for reality (especially from the sleepdep) that I just read the first comment and thought, "Wow. That's so funny and along the lines of where I was going that I have nothing to offer. Maybe blogger is cooler than lj because on lj that usually only happens when Mamatas comments."
I emerge from the mineral embrace of my granite tomb once per month. I can hardly pass judgement on the unworldliness of anyone. People who ... occupy stone houses shouldn't throw glasses.
Michael, I've been re-reading the Tyrant while I should really be reading other books in the stack I haven't read. Its pull was too great, and I spread the word to some other nefarious types I have recently met. The prose is delectable and inspiring. I'm considering building some of the props from the book, the Gorge, maybe the apple tree, and some others. I wish you well in finding a new publisher and gnaw at my fingernails waiting for a new release.
I see that a paparazzo was waiting for you to leave the apartment this morning!
